What is the status of my VA claim/appeal?
You can reach the United States Department of Veterans Affairs toll-free call center at 1-800-827-1000 to answer questions about a pending claim. Hearing-impaired callers can call the TDD line at 1-800-829-4833. The VA Web site answers Frequently Asked Questions and lists more contact options.


Where can I get VA forms?
The United States Department of Veterans Affairs now allows veterans to apply for some benefits claims online through its Veterans ON-Line APPlication (VONAPP) Web site. The Veterans Benefits Administration Web site also maintains a list of downloadable files and a Web Automated Reference Materials System (WARMS) to answer further questions.
