and Consumer Protection Act of 2009          Budget; Oversight and Government Reform; Ways & Means

The Committee granted, by a non-record vote, a rule for consideration of the conference report on H.R. 4173, the “Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009.”  The rule waives all points of order against the conference report and against its consideration.  The rule provides that the conference report shall be considered as read.  The previous question shall be considered as ordered on the conference report to its adoption without intervening motion except: (1) two hours of debate; and (2) one motion to recommit if applicable.
