Request a Tour

Certain tours may be scheduled through my office if notified in advance. Tours for the White House, Capitol and Bureau of Printing and Engraving are available. While it is recommended that these tours be scheduled months in advance, they are not guaranteed at any time. House and Senate Gallery passes are available on days when Congress is in Session.

Schedule a Tour of the Capitol - The process of obtaining Capitol tours has changed, and you can now schedule them at your convenience through the new Capitol Visitors Center
Important Note about White House Tours - If you wish to tour the White House please fill out the form below or contact my Washington, DC, office. Please notify my office at least FOUR MONTHS IN ADVANCE to give you and/or your family the best possible chance of obtaining a tour. The White House issues an approval or denial of tour requests approximately two weeks before the requested date, at which time my office will notify you of the result. Unfortunately, White House tours are administered at the sole discretion of the Obama Administration, and requests are always subject to denial or cancellation without any explanation.
The White House has not yet approved any tour requests submitted by our office in 2009. We are currently looking into this situation.
Do not submit any data of a sensitive nature over this form. Please contact Dan Burton's Office directly.
