Congressional Internship Program in Washington:

Congressional Internships are available in my Washington office to college students or recent graduates.  Internships provide an excellent opportunity to see firsthand the legislative process in action.  Responsibilities include assisting with incoming mail, working with legislative staff on special projects, and general office duties.  Internships in Congressman Burton's office are unpaid. District Office Congressional Internship Program :

  • What and Where?   A semester-long internship at the Indianapolis Offices of U.S. Congressman Dan Burton. The location gives students exposure to federal policymaking and Congressional casework with the convenience of being close to campus.
  • Who should apply?  Indiana college students of any major who are interested in public policy, politics, and government.
