Cancer Caucus

CancerCaucus.JPGBrian believes that finding a cure to cancer should be America’s goal.  Many of the breakthroughs and discoveries that have improved the quality of life of those who suffer from cancer are due to efforts by researchers at American institutions.  The New York Cancer Laboratory, the predecessor to Roswell Park Cancer Institute – gave cancer research to our country more than 100 years ago.  Cancer research remains important to the economy and community of Western New York.  Roswell and the burgeoning Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus hold tremendous promise to improve the quality of life and provide opportunities for job growth in our community.

About the Cancer Caucus:

The bipartisan caucus advocates for greater funding and national policies to advance cancer research, improve the access to care, treatment and diagnosis of cancer and enhance the quality of life for cancer patients.
