As your member of Congress, I have the honor and privilege of nominating young men and women for appointments to our nation's service academies. These institutions provide the unique opportunity to train for a career as an officer serving in America's armed services. Members of Congress may nominate applicants who meet the eligibility requirements established by law to the following academies: U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, and U.S. Merchant Marines Academy. There are no Congressional nominations to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
