In 2008, the Virginia modeling and simulation industry was responsible for employing 11,500 private sector employees and produced a direct economic output of $1.6 billion. Not only is the M&S industry vital to Virginia’s economic success, but it is also a key player in helping America to stay competitive in a rapidly changing, high-tech world.
