The town of Braintree has requested funds for the Restoration and Rehabilitation of the Original Thayer Library. The Town proposes to utilize the former library building for community and municipal meeting space. The re-opening of the Original Thayer Library will assist also with the Town’s historic tourism activities with its economic initiatives of the South Braintree Square business area.
