The City of Brockton has requested funds for the Downtown Brockton Two Way Recirculation project. The project includes design and construction for converting the central downtown Brockton traffic from one way to two-way traffic circulation. It is expected that the conversion of downtown Brockton traffic from the current one configuration to a two-way configuration will ease traffic congestion, slow traffic down, increase safety, and provide a stimulus for downtown redevelopment.
