Congressman Mac Thornberry (TX-13) today issued the following statement after the federal court ruling on the Arizona immigration law:

"Today, we have seen the first of many court rulings on the Arizona law.  I am sure that this ruling will be appealed.  But rather than file lawsuits, the Administration should step up to the federal government’s responsibilities to control who and what comes across our borders.  That is the essential first step toward solving our illegal immigration issues."
