“I have been working on energy related issues for more than 30 years. I am extremely concerned with climate change and ocean acidification and look forward to playing a leading role in using scientific research to craft responsible policies in these areas,” said Congressman Baird. “I am also eager to work on research and development to advance the energy technologies that embrace renewable energies and reduce energy use through increased energy efficiency.”
