Veterans Day

On Veterans Day, Sen. Bernie Sanders, a member of the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs, visited Weathersfield, Springfield and White River Junction, Vermont to show his appreciation for the service of American veterans. Sanders has been working in Vermont and Washington to secure for all veterans the services and care they have need and deserve.
Vermonters Helping Vermonters - While our soldiers are deployed in Afghanistan, Vermont's veterans are taking it upon themselves to lend a hand to the families who remain in Vermont. Wilfred "Dizzy" Desilets, 68, and several members of VFW Post 782 are some of those people. Read more »
