Congressman Dennis Kucinich today applauded an announcement by the Ford Motor Company that the Brook Park-built EcoBoost V-6 engine will be available in the 2011 F-150. Union officials expect employment to be ramped up to meet the need.

“Once again, Brook Park workers prove to Ford and the world that Northeast Ohio has the skilled workforce and necessary infrastructure to be the center of American manufacturing.  These green jobs will help power our economic recovery, wean us off foreign sources of energy, and address global warming.

“This is the kind of good news that shows that Cleveland is the best place for Democrats to bring the 2012 Democratic National Convention,” said Kucinich.
