WASHINGTON - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Village of Tamaroa has received a $1,334,000 loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to purchase the Consolidated Public Water District and connect new customers.
“Enhancing water service improves quality of life and is a major factor in economic development,” said Costello. “I will continue to work to make infrastructure investment a priority of the federal budget.”
