With Americans demanding a new way forward in Washington, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) uses the Weekly Republican Address to outline solutions for ending economic uncertainty, stopping government's spending binge, and changing the way Congress does business. In the address, Boehner notes that this is a new approach that hasn't been tried in Washington -- by either party -- and it is at the core of the Pledge to America, a governing agenda Republicans built by listening to the people.

  • Mr. Boehner, may i remind you that this crisis started under your Republican teammate George Bush Jr., who received a huge surplus of money from President Bill Clinton's administration, and turned it from a billion-dollar surplus to a TRILLION-dollar DEFICIT. meaning, not only did he spend all those billion dollars, but he also spent way more billions of dollars, all the way until he got to a TRILLION dollars in money OWED.

also, the overwhelming majority of what you said in this video is..

  • I don't trust him, Pelosi or Obama. Neither did I trust Bush either. Seriously, do you even notice how insincere this guy sounds in this video? This is how he always is.

Frankly, unless your name is Ron Paul, I don't trust anyone in the house.

  • if u want obama to truely change the US then approve funding for health care and wall street reform mr.speaker

  • Study: Pharmaceutical Drug Companies Top Military Industry in Defrauding U.S. Gov't --- youtube . com / watch?v=r_bNCw0mfF0 --- A new study by the watchdog group Public Citizen has found that the pharmaceutical drug industry has become the biggest defrauder of the federal government, surpassing the defense industry. Public Citizen found that the drug industry paid out nearly $20 billion in penalties over the past two decades for violations of the False Claim Act. --- CROOKS!

  • @JediMasterLego May i remind you, that during the Bush administration, the Congress had a HUGE Democratic Majority, and if the majority is with an opposite party, the will goes to them. Im not saying it was not Bushes faults, but you cannot blame everything on him. So next time you comment on something, get ALL your facts, and not only a partisan piece of shit

  • @psyberzaz I agree with a lot of that - it's not like I don't understand about the central bankers and the elite families running the world - but Ron Paul has been consistently voting for the right things, and talking consistently about the right things for 3 decades. If he were really in on it, they would make him president at a time where he's the only valid one to get all the libertarians behind him just to totally screw us.

  • @egervari Ron Paul was given money by those with an agenda as well. The Tea party, the Rep. and dems are all paid for by special interest be it green or spending or welfare it's all part of a bigger plan to manipulate and control the American public using all these people to cut into the groups in this country. Divide and conquer has always been the mantra of those in control and it hasn't been the people for over 100 years or more. Corporations run this country and the world and we are cogs!

  • @HJMM22 Oh man, don't you see that religion has warped your mind? America was never a nation "under god" until much later. It's just another way for the politician to sheepify their populations. Wake up!

  • This is coming from the guy that takes checks from a lobbyist who enters the house! and then passes them out to various people before a crucial vote. When interviewed about it, he says something to the effect like, "Yeah, we really shouldn't have done that. We need to take a look at that. I promise not to do that again."

Like seriously, this guy is freaking corrupt. And when he said not do it again, did he mean not do it in plain view? Absolutely. Wake up people!

  • I believe that OBAMA as a good President (not an excellent character) will advise, saving the nation of the United States (53) prior to the world by many circumstances. Obama saves you nation and let the world is saved by God who can also save them. where was that phrase IN GOD WE TRUST? and you people who are part of that nation, collaborate with Government to enable them to act and rely on God with faith.

  • @JoeJC JOEJC FOR PREZ!

  • @threeofwands Of course we are, Bush did spend too much. However what he did is only bad in the short term. In the long run we are all going to be screwed by a government takeover of healthcare. They will be about ass effient as the DMV and as compassionate as the IRS. People who truely need care won't get it. It is too big to be efficient and too expensive to be sensible. I do agree we need reform, howver a government takeover is not the answer.
