Bay Area Regional Recycling Water Program Expansion Act The Bay Area Regional Recycling Water Program Expansion Act (H.R. 2442) would expand upon water recycling programs already underway in communities throughout the California Bay Area. The new projects funded by this bill would save 2.6 billion gallons per year for the region’s water supply, helping to address California’s cycle of drought and reducing dependence on water from the troubled Bay-Delta ecosystem.

Veterans Health Care Budget Reform and Transparency Act The Veterans Health Care Budget Reform and Transparency Act (H.R.
Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act The Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act (H.R. 2892) provides approximately $42.6 billion in funding for the Department of Homeland Security.  The bill puts our nation’s safety and security first, making critical investments to emergency and fire response programs, border security, and transportation security.  In addition, the bill makes a commitment to combat the international trade in drugs, weapons smuggling and crimes associated with violence along the Southwest border.
National Defense Authorization Act The National Defense Authorization Act (H.R.
Iran Sanctions Enabling Act of 2009 The Iran Sanctions Enabling Act of 2009 (H.R. 1327) would empower Americans to apply economic pressure on the Iranian regime.  The legislation would enable state and local governments to divest their public pension funds from companies investing more than $20 million in Iran’s energy sector. It also would remove legal barriers to allow mutual fund and corporate pension fund managers to cut ties with these companies.
Department of Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2010 The Department of Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2010 (H.R. 2996) provides approximately $32.2 billion to meet federal stewardship obligations and help protect the environment, including funding for the Department of the Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service and other related agencies.  The bill will help communities and public lands by focusing on five priority areas:
