On September 12, 2006, senators, staff and distinguished guests gathered in the Senate Reception Room to witness the unveiling of The Connecticut Compromise, painted by artist Bradley Stevens. This ceremony marked the beginning of the Senate’s celebration of Constitution Day on September 17.
