Each year, the Congressional Arts Caucus coordinates an annual art competition for students in grades nine through twelve. This competition provides a wonderful opportunity to recognize the rich artistic talents of high school students across the nation.

Entries are accepted from each Congressional District, and then a winner is chosen from each district.  The winning entry selected to represent the Fourth Congressional District of Kentucky will be displayed in our nation’s Capitol in Washington, D.C., as part of an exhibition comprised of artwork from across the country. The first place winner will also receive two airline tickets to the ribbon cutting ceremony and an art school scholarship.

All entries to the 2010 Art Competition submitted by students in Kentucky's Fourth District are on display at the Main Branch of the Boone County Public Library from April 9th through April 16th.  The display will be located on the second floor of the library and will be open to the public.  You can view entries from the 2010 competition here.
