Talk to Me

I love hearing from constituents in the 38th District about issues of concern to them. Below are some tips on how to best contact me:

If you would like to request a tour of the Capitol, you can do so here.

If you are requesting help regarding a visa or citizenship application, veteran’s benefits, or any other problem you are having with a federal service, please contact my district office.

If you have legislative concerns, I encourage you to contact my office via email using the form included at the bottom of this page. Email is the fastest and most efficient way to contact my office with your thoughts and concerns.

My office can also receive your letter through postal mail, but due to security procedures there will be at least a two week delay before my office is able to receive your letter. As a result, email is the best and quickest way to contact me about issues of concern to you.

Email correspondence has the greatest impact when it is:

  • In an easy to read format, with a clear purpose stated first
  • Regarding a single issue, not a group of unrelated issues
  • Not attempting to begin a dialogue, which is better conducted on the phone or in person
  • In your own words, not copied from a form letter or Web site

Regrettably, I am only able to respond to constituents from California 's 38th Congressional District. If you are unsure whether or not you live within the 38th District, please enter your full zip code on the House of Representatives website, and then return to this page if you are confirmed as a resident in the 38 th District.
