Kucinich Calls Sale Of Deaconness Hospital “Victory For The Community”

Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH) issued the following statement on the sale of Deaconness Hospital today in Federal Bankruptcy Court:
“The sale of Deaconness Hospital is a victory for the community. Hospital Partners of America has assured me, and now the Federal Court, that Deaconness will be re-opened.
“I look forward to working with both Deaconess and Hospital Partners of America and all appropriate governmental agencies to expedite the opening of this hospital to serve the people of my Congressional District, the City of Cleveland, and neighboring areas.”
