Kucinich Announces Auto Summit; Revelations Regarding New Auto Contracts

Washington, Oct 1, 2007 - As terms of the GM agreement begin to be made public, renewed concerns about the future of powertrain operations at GM’s Parma facility have been expressed in news reports. Congressman Dennis Kucinich, after contacting leaders in the UAW, is calling for an “Auto Summit” for Friday, October 19, 2007 at his Lakewood office.

Public officials, business leaders and labor leaders are expected to attend to discuss the future of auto making in the Greater Cleveland area.
