Washington, D.C. —U.S. Representative Steve Buyer (R-Ind.), and U.S. Senator Richard Burr (R-N.C.), today announced similar legislative measures to make fundamental changes in the way our government compensates and assists veterans for disabilities attributable to military service.

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Jeff Miller (R-Fla.), Ranking Member of the Health Subcommittee, said during today’s hearing on veterans’ health care facilities that he intends to do all he can to ensure  veterans have health care support where they live. 

Washington D.C. — U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Disability and Memorial Affairs, said during today’s hearing on the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) rating schedule, that he intends to ensure that veterans are justly compensated for their sacrifices.

Washington, D.C. — The House of Representatives approved three veteran-related bills yesterday, one of which is intended to honor members of the armed forces who lost their sight in service to our nation.

Ginny Brown-Waite (R-Fla.), Ranking Member of the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations (O&I), said during yesterday’s oversight hearing it is imperative that the VA Office of Inspector General (OIG) is sufficiently funded to conduct rigorous investigations on behalf of our nation’s veterans.
