Washington, D.C. — Today, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) notified Ranking Member Steve Buyer (R-Ind.) that two personal computers and a laptop computer were allegedly stolen from an unsecured room at Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana on Veterans’Day.

Washington, D.C. — Earlier this week, President Bush enacted legislation that establishes a program intended to reduce suicide among veterans, provides a 2.3 percent Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA), and honors a distinguished veteran.

 Washington, D.C. — Today, the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs unanimously approved H.R. 3882, a bipartisan bill that would eliminate an unintended consequence of law that rendered many of the 1/34^th Brigade Combat Team of the Minnesota National Guard ineligible for the Montgomery GI Bill.

Washington, D.C. — The Subcommittee on Health held a hearing today to gather information on how the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) construction process can best meet the geographic and health care needs of veterans.
