Marc's Adoption Story

Dear Charlie,

We were on pins and needles waiting to adopt our little boy from Guatemala. We were so anxious to get baby Marc home.

Your caseworker, Joy, followed our case every step of the way. In the middle of our adoption process, the Guatemalan government announced that new rules would quickly take effect that would have drastically slowed our adoption process. Joy continually checked with the embassy to confirm the deadline and to make sure our case reached an officer at the embassy before the rules took effect so that our adoption was not slowed down.
