Press Conference: Senator Boxer and Transportation Officials to Discuss Opportunities for Job Creation

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, will hold a press conference to discuss opportunities for job creation through investment in the nation’s transportation infrastructure. The event will be held as the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) release the latest national surveys on ready-to-go transportation projects. Senator Boxer will be joined by Jack Basso, Director of Management and Program Finance, of AASHTO, and Art Guzzetti, Vice President of Policy, APTA.
