Resources for Students and Educators PDF Print

My office can asist south Louisianians in navigating the various federal programs, grants and resources available. The following webpages will help guide students, teachers, and parents in making the most of the educational resources available to them online.

Financial Aid
Need help paying for school? Have a child approaching college age? Want to lay the groundwork for the future? I have listed various resources available to residents of south Louisiana to help give our children the best education available.

Resources for Students
Whether you want to work with the Peace Corps, study at one of our fine military academies, or learn how a bill becomes a law, these resources should help you on your way to fulfilling those goals and introduce you to new ones.

Resources for Educators
I recognize the challenges facing teachers and work to support them in any way I can. This page is a compilation of resources for educators to help them in the classroom.

Congressional Art Competition
As your U.S. Representative for Louisiana's 3rd Congressional District, I am proud to announce my 5th Annual High School Congressional Art Competition.  I cordially invite high school students to enter the Congressional Art Competition, "An Artistic Discovery."

Supporting Education in Congress
Dedicated teachers and involved parents play the most important roles in educating our children, but they also need the support of our state and local governments to be successful.  Click here to learn about what I am working for in Congress on behalf of Louisiana's educators and students.
