South Bend, IN – Today, Congressman Joe Donnelly announced that since coming to Congress in 2007, he has helped Hoosiers in Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District receive over $4.7 million in benefits owed to them from the Veterans Administration, Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service, and other government agencies.
“I’m honored to represent north central Indiana in Congress, and that means helping our friends and neighbors in every way I can,” said Donnelly. “I’m proud that my office has been able to help so many Hoosiers receive the VA, Medicare, Social Security and other benefits they’ve earned; and that we’ve been able to assist many others with tours, flags, and in getting a timely response when they contact me about federal issues.”
Congressman Donnelly has helped secure over $1.3 million in benefits owed to veterans and servicemembers, $2.2 million owed to seniors through Social Security, and over $340,000 in funds owed to constituents from the IRS.
