Washington, D.C. - Congressman Joe Donnelly (IN-02) released the following statement this evening regarding Congresswoman Julia Carson (IN-07), who passed away earlier today:
"Julia Carson was a graceful and inspiring woman. She was a sharp and dedicated servant for the people of Indianapolis. I am honored to have served with her, and my heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to her family. Indiana, and Congress, will miss her presence deeply."
