Obey IN KENNAN FOR GRAND-OPENING
OF NEW POST OFFICE

KENNAN, WI – Seventh District Congressman Dave Obey (D-WI) joined with Postmaster Jane Frederick and Post Office Operations Manager Mark Rask today to officially ‘cut-the-ribbon' for the new Kennan Post Office building.

"For small towns, the post office is more than just a place to drop off mail; it's one of the ties that bind the community together. So I'm glad to be here today to help dedicate this new facility to the community," said Obey, who worked closely with community leaders and the Postal Service to ensure construction of the new building after it was determined that the old Post Office could no longer meet the region's needs.
