Washington, D.C.—Today the House passed HR 2847, which invests in surface transportation projects and offers tax incentives to businesses for hiring new employees.
“I am pleased that Congress passed a bi-partisan bill today to invest in our nation’s transportation infrastructure and to create a better environment for small-business job creation,” Minnick said. “Like other Idaho businessmen and women, I know that small businesses will lead us into economic recovery. This legislation helps those businesses, which create 2/3 of all jobs in America, by offering tax incentives for hiring new workers.”
