Rep. Napolitano’s Office to Host “Academy Day” in Norwalk for Young People Interested in Attending One of Our Nation’s Military Academies

 

(Norwalk, DC) Rep. Grace F. Napolitano’s is hosting an “Academy Day” at the Norwalk Park Sproul Reception Center on Saturday, November 15th from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Students will be able to speak with and hear from representatives of West Point, the Naval Academy at Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, and the California Maritime Academy. Because our nation’s military academies require nominations by prospective students’ Congressperson, the event also gives high school students a chance to speak with a member of Rep. Napolitano’s staff about the nomination process.
