Tickets are required to enter the Washington Monument.  Reservations for the Washington Monument may be made between 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. EST by calling (800) 967-2283 or over the internet at www.reservations.nps.gov. Tickets can be reserved from 24 hours up to 5 months in advance. Those making advance reservations will be charged $1.50 per ticket, plus a $0.50 service charge per order.  Free same-day tickets are distributed from the kiosk on the Washington Monument grounds at 15th St and Madison Dr on a first-come, first-served basis. Hours for the kiosk are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
