Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano remains committed to meeting the needs of the men and women who have served our nation in the armed forces. Napolitano has been working on a number of key projects on behalf of veterans in her district.

Rep. Napolitano hosted a Veterans' Health and Employment Expo in Pico Rivera on November 1st of last year. More than 200 veterans and their families were able to meet with 85 employers and healthcare organizations to learn about job opportunities and healthcare programs in Southern California.

“I feel very strongly about the importance of service to our country and our communities,” said the Congresswoman. “Part of that is giving back to those who have served their country. That is why we hold events like these and why my office is committed to making sure that our veterans get the benefits and assistance they have earned.”

The Congresswoman has also been working with the VA and the Department of Defense to study new treatments for veterans and active duty personnel suffering from traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress disorder.
