Sen. Franken Works with Habitat for Humanity

Recently, Sen. Franken joined Fmr. President Jimmy Carter and Fmr. Vice President Walter Mondale at the Minnesota Habitat for Humanity event in Minneapolis. The event was part of the 27th annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project. The project is an international volunteer effort to build and repair affordable housing for low-income families.

The goal of the Minneapolis Habitat for Humanity project is to eliminate poverty house from the Twin Cities and support affordable homeownership.
