I think you are correct to take this action, since making people lie about themselves is detrimental to their mental health and character. The world is watching us to see if we will treat people equally or do we still have the political he...ritage of Germany in World War II which advocated rule by the master race--white Anglo saxon Protestant. In the schools in San Francisco, I have seen that the young people are relaxed about this issue of gayness. Some even like to freak old teachers out by wearing unisex clothing and hairdos. It's very disconcerting and of course that's the effect they are trying to have. Some middle school boys say they have a philosophy that a boy has to take advantage of a girl sexually any time the opportunity presents itself, lest he be called gay, but those boys are few in number. The overwhelming majority of them respect girls.

The problems arise when some woman who has been experimenting with different sexual lifestyles decides she has been raped and then for the next 40 years she cries rape after she had asked about what it was like and if it was like rape over and over until apparently someone finally did it to her. She said she was going to say it was rape because she was never going to admit to adultery. Then you have the issue of people deciding if it is all right for a person like that to live near a school or are they a sex criminal for allowing someone to do it once or twice 40 years ago. And then you have church attendance dropping because they became a welcoming congregation. So there are many negative consequences but I think the average run of the mill gay person (if there are any like that) just wants to live with their significant other peacefully and quietly and minding their own business and not trying to convert others to their way of life. I think that's what Bill Clinton meant by don't ask, don't tell. Also, people are entitled to have roommates to help them share the rent, and most normal people do not inquire about their sex life or lack of it. I think it would be very impolite and rude to do that. Of course if they are having sex in public or in a place where people are likely to walk in on them, that's another matter.

I think it is the aggressive recruitment into the gay lifestyle that so deeply disturbs people that they want the gays to go away. It makes people want to protect their children from it. They have a propaganda line that is as bad as the marijuana propaganda line. You would be turned off by it if you heard it too, but I guess some people are susceptible to that stuff. As for myself, I am not gay. I am straight. And I am not interested in the details of a gay's sex life, nor do I want to watch them making out in doorways of businesses like in the film about Harvey Milk.

The first people who the press reported who enjoyed shocking people with that behavior were the Hell's Angels, who enjoyed kissing each other while wearing their motorcycle garb. Well, I am sure that the US. military is better equipped to deal with that kind of thing than I am. When I was young my parents thought that it was better if gays were allowed to live together as a couple if they were in love with each other, because it was necessary for a homosexual person to get married to a straight person of the opposite sex in order to get a job. That person might or might not know their mate was gay and they might not know that they were going to have a lifetime of no love and no sex as a result of being married to a homosexual. My parents thought that was a cruel thing to do to a naive young woman or man and I agree with them.

Forty five years ago, when my ex and I first arrived in Point Richmond, I heard him and his co-workers talking about sex, which they talked about all the time, saying it was "legal research" and my ex said he thought he couldn't do it with ...a gun pointed at his head. They were talking about spousal rape. They wanted to know if getting screwed in the ass really felt like rape. I still had not fully understood that they were intending to rape me, do husband and wife swaps and all other kinds ofd bad things to me. It was about two weeks later that the "other woman" came and asked me if making love with my ex husband was "like rape." I was in love with him and so of course I said no and it was none of her business, although I did not like what he was doing to me in bed. She kept wanting to know what my sex life was like, even why I did not have orgasms, so I guess they had gotten him to talk about what I was like in bed. Years later I found out that her sister-in-lawl had a phone sex business and they knew the sexual preference of everyone in the county. So I had been brought into a sex ring without even knowing the meaning of the word. That's why I vigorously protested legalizing marijuana and having a casino here, since I knew they were trying to legalize that stuff back in the 1960's during the Vietnam war. I feel sorry for any young women they import into this area for "legal research" or whatever they call it. My ex called it a lifestyle and told me when I got tired of the lifestyle that I should go to an AA meeting, but it wsn't until 30 years later when I was so lonely one Christmas, that I went to an AA meeting. Then they do a 180 degree turn, when you don't want to drink and screw around anymore, they try to make you feel guilty like you are to blame for the things they brought you here to do. I am glad I quit drinking and I'm very grateful to my husband for helping me to quit drinking. Nothing in my background in New Jersey or North Carolina prepared me for this and in fact, I was always discouraged from calling the police or 911 by my dad. But that's what they want the person to do. They want to be able to offer the person drugs and then when you don't call the police, they demand to know why not and accuse you of being part of the problem. How are you going to call the police when it's the police who are doing it to you? The people who originally forced my ex husband to do anal sex with me, said they were going to take over the rackets and run them themselves. Were they police? If they were, I did not know it back then. I never let anyone do that to me again, especially after I learned from a Time magazine reporter that safe sex meant no anal sex and that it caused people to have AIDS. I think it is unfair to say a person is gay when they forced the person to commit an illegal sex act on his wife at gunpoint, for no valid reason that I am aware of. I guess it was some kind of initiation rite into their sex ring. HAZING. i never accused anyone of raping me because the definition of rape that I brought with me from the east coast meant sex that was done with the threat of bodiliy harm if the person didn't do it, or the person was beaten up afterward and killed to get rid of the evidence. But they have definitions of rape here in CA that mean having sex with a woman when she is too drunk to say no. It never occured to me that this issue would arise 45 years later when I was 68 years old or that was why they did it back then. It was like walking into a bad movie that I could not get out of. The man I loved had become Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I guess they were planning to do all that to my current husband and me too, but we broke up before that happened. And the same other woman claimed credit for breaking my second marriage. She had told me she was more attracted to any man just because he was with me. I did leave my first husband and went back to Charlotte, NC, but returned when he wrote me many letters asking me to come back. I called her first before I came back. She told me that it didn't look good, that he already had another girlfriend and she was really very nice. They had driven me out of town and she did not want me to come back. It did not occur to me that girlfriend was her. I had been faithful to him until I saw him in bed with another woman. We are victims to people who have no morals, no respect for other people's married relationships, or any limits on their behavior. I asked my current husband to stay away from her, but he told me that he did not want any restrictions on his associations, took off his wedding ring and walked out of the house. Now what do you suppose she is doing to have such a strong attraction for the men in my life?See More

Caltrans completed the repaving of Interstate 80 through Fairfield earlier this month & of I-880 at Fruitvale Avenue in Oakland earlier this year. New concrete was laid down on Interstate 280 west of I-880 in the South Bay a year ago.

Maybe the next generation will be the generation that thinks that bar girls are OK to get married to and have a family with because their parents took them with them into the pub. I hope it has some good results. I can't keep calling the p...olice just because some kids are in a restaurant after they stopped serving food. I don't get paid to do that, either. I just think it is so shabby to go eat in a restaurant and then they take the dishes away, serve drinks, start up the music and then they send their kids out to say hello to the customers. I called the police on that stunt and later the hostess told me the restaurant had been sold to someone else and they made us take our art work out of there and I stopped going there. You have to think about the fact that those places have loyal customers who don't like people calling the police no matter what they did. It's a wonder I am still alive to write about it. So I still have a teaching credential but I am not working so what good does it do me? So yes, I think the unemployment benefits should be extended as long as possible.See More

Is common sense so uncommon that some in Congress are devoid in this area? When we make the poor more poor it actually costs more to everyone than helping them temporarily? It also causes a negative domino effect on all area's of life, including commerce, public services, property values, crime, neglect...etc? I concur this is cruel. To all.

      Open Letter To Congress

When you take office as a public servant you swear an oath before God and man. This oath you take is a sacred trust. It is your word and your honor spoken in public for all to bear witness. Your adherence to your oath... is the measure of your integrity.

Your solemn oath of office is to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic. God has surely taken note of your oath and will judge you according to the integrity of your soul.

As a natural born citizen of this great nation that I love, I request that you honor your word by protecting and defending Article 2 Section 1 of the Constitution you swore before God that you would defend. The aforementioned article has come under attack from within. And as a result, the freedoms to which your oath applied are all at risk of disappearing, including the very Constitution you swore to protect.

Millions of brave Americans gave their lives for the freedoms that our Constitutional rule of law has provided and has sustained us through the years as the greatest nation the world has ever seen. They also swore the same oath and their honor and integrity are intact without question. Let not their sacrifices be for naught.

Our brave men and women of the Armed Forces today go into harms way without the assurance that the orders coming down the unified chain of command are legal and lawful because there are lingering questions as to the eligibility of the Commander In Chief to issue them. One brave soldier, Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, has tried to get an answer through normal military channels without success. He finally made the distasteful choice to invite his own court martial in order to get an answer to the question to finally put an end to the doubts and concerns of his fellow soldiers in arms. In this action he is doing exactly as he was trained to do.

Lt. Col. Terry Lakin is an 18 year highly decorated Bronze Star recipient who served tours in Bosnia and Afghanistan. He has the support of three Generals, Army Major General (Ret) Jerry Curry, U.S. Army Major General (Ret) Paul E. Valalley and Air Force Lieutenant General (Ret) Thomas McInerney. General McInerney has submitted to the court an affidavit of support for discovery and a full hearing. In spite of the plea from Three Star Lt. General McInverney, Lakin is being denied due process by Judge Lind who has ruled that Lakin cannot defend himself in any way whatsoever because she will not "embarrass the President" to show his vital records, and prove his eligibility under Article 2 Section 1. As a result of that ruling Lt. Col. Terry Lakin faces years at hard labor because he might expose high treason against the people of the United States of America and the Constitution you swore to protect and defend.

If ever there was a time for you to honor your oath with right action it is now. And there is an easy answer for your personal concerns about your oath and your integrity. If Obama is truly eligible to hold office and can prove it, your honor and integrity are intact, because you have done your duty to your word and your honor while performing a service to end the lingering doubts as to the lawfulness of orders coming down the unified chain of command. If on the other hand, Obama cannot produce proof of eligibility, then you have exposed and rescued the nation from acts of high treason, and your honor and your integrity will be intact. Either way you come out of it a hero and with your integrity intact. I ask you to be reminded of the courage and bravery of the millions who died to protect and defend our Constitution, and in that, find within yourself the courage to act with the same bravery and conviction of those who paved the way for the very freedoms you enjoy today.

Remember, if due process can be denied Lt. Col Terry Lakin, it can be denied you also.

      Sincerely,

A Natural Born Citizen of the United States of America

When my son in the army went to work for the Defense Department, my dad thought I did not have any right to comment on that at all, either good or bad. Obviously because he thinks I am his enemy, nothing I said was going to be any good for... anyone. I guess he needed an enemy and there weren't any around, so his children and his wife would come in handy for that, so he accused his wife of being a spy and his children too. It's a wonder that I can communicate at all. I had no one to talk to when I was a kid and we were not allowed to talk to each other in school. The only reason I can communicate at all is because the elementary teachers allowed us to pass notes.See More

The boy who gave me his paper to copy and turn in as my own was Paul Shields, who went on to medical school and became a psychiatrist. He was my second lover. He was the buddy of my first lover Jon Golddstine who I guess had decided to du...mp me after we had been engaged for a year. But they did not kick me out of Swarthmore, as I said I stayed there another year and a half until my GPA was a D minus and it was going to be almost impossible to ever graduate from a four year college. I guess my dad told the the college to keep me there. He was determined that I would not graduate from college because he had other plans for me, I guess. It was my mother who really wanted me to go to college.

I think a normal person would have dropped out and gone somewhere else where they had more chance of success. I had a lot of illnesses that caused me to miss classes at CCC and so I dropped courses there unless I was making an A or a B because I had to pull up my GPA. When you hear about a young woman raising a child by herself and working and going to college too, don't believe it. It's a myth. It's too much work. Well maybe they could take six units and work part time and use the campus child care facility. Then what happens when some sweet talking young man comes along and hits on her and climbs in bed with her and then she has a bladder infection and has to go to the county clinic for antibiotics? It's the slow road to an AA degree, which I did not get until Howard started living with me. So you see, Republicans are good for some things. I really thank Howard for getting me through college.
