Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has invited high school students living in Ohio’s 10th Congressional District to submit their work for the Annual Congressional Art Competition.
“The Greater Cleveland area is home to a very talented community of student artists,” stated Kucinich. “I am always impressed with the quality of the art submitted each year. I encourage every high school student to express their creativity and submit a piece of work for this competition.”
The winning piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol. The winning student will be invited along with a parent and his or her art teacher to witness the unveiling of the work in Washington, D.C.
Students are invited to submit their work to either of the Congressman’s District offices located at 14400 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood or 7904 Day Drive in the Parmatown Mall. Art work must be submitted by Wednesday, April 14 by 4:00 pm. All entries will be displayed in an art show at Parmatown Mall from April 20 through April 30.
