Congressional Page Program PDF Print E-mail
Through the Congressional Page Program, high school juniors residing in Alabama's First District are offered a chance to witness the inner operations of the United States Congress. Appointments are available both during the summer as well as during the school year.

The program is organized through the House of Representatives; however, in order to qualify, you must be sponsored by your Representative in Congress. Competition is stiff, as only a total of 66 appointments are accepted each year. This Congress Republicans will be filling 54 of those 66 appointments.

If you are interested in the Page Program, you must notify Congressman Bonner's office as soon as possible. Applications are usually due in the House Speaker's office in early April. Your application should be mailed to Congressman Bonner and it will be forwarded to the Speaker's office with a letter of recommendation.

To qualify for the Page Program, you must be a high school junior, at least 16 years of age at the time your appointment begins and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better in all major subjects.

Congressman Bonner invites you to apply for this challenging position. Please call or write Suzannah Weeks in Congessman Bonner's Washington office to request an application:
