Rep. Chu Urges House to Adopt Wall Street Reform

Rep. Judy Chu spoke on the House floor on Tuesday, June 29, and urged her colleagues to pass Wall Street Reform.  She noted the bill's provisions would help prevent a repeat of the California Public Employees' Retirement System's loss of $1 billion to hidden subprime mortgages.  She also praised the bill for ending taxpayer bailouts and ensuring no bank is ever again "too big to fail".
