FIEDLER, Bobbi, a Representative from California; born Roberta Frances Horowitz in
Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, Calif., April 22, 1937; attended the public
schools; attended Santa Monica Technical School, 1955-1957; attended Santa
Monica City College, 1955-1959; businesswoman; member, Los Angeles (City) Board
of Education, 1977-1980; delegate, California State Republican conventions,
1977-1987; delegate, Republican National Convention, 1980 and 1984; elected as
a Republican to the Ninety-seventh and to the two succeeding Congresses
(January 3, 1981-January 3, 1987); was not a candidate for reelection to the
One Hundredth Congress in 1986, but was an unsuccessful candidate for the
Republican nomination to the United States Senate; is a resident of Northridge,
Calif.
