District 3 Representative Ben Ray Lujan is scheduled to hold a panel discussion Saturday in Rio Rancho to outline the benefits of credit card legislation recently signed in to law.

The congressman and members of Money Management International, HELP New Mexico, the National Association of Consumer Advocacy and other consumer and citizens groups were planning on attending.

The panel was scheduled for 3 p.m. At the Rio Rancho Public Library located at 755 Loma Colorado St. NE.

Representatives of the groups will be available to sit down with people from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Rep. Lujan said, "The panel discussion will outline the benefits of the Credit Cardholders' Bill of Rights and the workshop will provide assistance and advice to families and individuals who are having trouble with their credit cards."

President Barack Obama recently spoke in Rio Rancho to drum up support for the credit card bill, dubbed the 'Credit Cardholders' Bill of Rights'
