BARTOW, Fla. – Congressman Adam Putnam’s office will host an Education and Employment Fair with more than 60 booths (list below) on display Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Nora Mayo Hall in Winter Haven.
Held in partnership with Polk Works, the fair will bring employers and job seekers together to discuss employment opportunities and career choices. In addition, representatives of colleges and vocational/technical schools will be on hand to provide information on the programs they offer.
“Hundreds of job seekers have learned about employment opportunities, developed useful contacts and gotten helpful information at previous fairs,” Putnam said. “If you are looking for work or just want to learn about possible opportunities, I encourage you to stop by on June 24th.”
