Van Hollen Statement on Confirmation of Jack Lew as OMB Director

Today Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen, incoming Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, issued the following statement on the Senate’s confirmation of Jack Lew as Director of the Office of Management and Budget:
“I want to congratulate Jack Lew on his confirmation as Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Jack brings a wealth of knowledge to this position, and he will be a strong steward of OMB as we work to put our fiscal house in order. I look forward to working with him and my colleagues in the Congress to get our nation on a path of fiscal responsibility and tackle the important issues facing our economy and middle class families.”
