How Will Seniors Benefit?

Many of New Mexico's seniors were concerned about how the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) would affect Medicare, the Medicare prescription drug plan, private insurance, and health insurance through pensions or retirement.  Getting health insurance reform right for seniors was essential, and I believe we have made changes to the health delivery system that will benefit New Mexico's seniors.  From closing the Medicare prescription drug "donut hole" to extending Medicare solvency, the PPACA helps make health care more affordable for America's senior citizens.
