Congressman Adam Smith (WA-09), who represents Lakewood, WA, offered a resolution extending condolences to the families of Sergeant Mark Renninger, Officer Tina Griswold, Officer Ronald Owens, and Officer Greg Richards. The resolution also praised the officers for their service. The four officers were slain on Sunday, November 29, 2009, in Lakewood, WA, while preparing for their shift.
