Today, the Star Tribune wrote about Sen. Franken's support of Minnesotan Jeffrey Almer's cause as he works to strengthen food safety regulations in light of the death of his mother from tainted food.
Almer's opinion matters, said Minnesota Sen. Al Franken, a Democrat, because Almer 'channeled his outrage into something effective.'
