The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was signed into law on February 17th, 2009. The legislation, known to many as the stimulus, is intended to provide the economy with a boost and make investments in infrastructure and services. It contains funding for:

• Clean, Efficient, American Energy
• Science and Technology
• Modernizing Roads, Bridges, Transit and Waterways
• Education
• Tax Cuts
• Health Care
• Helping Workers Hurt by the Economy
• Protecting Vital Services
