The funding will be used by the Town of Chesterton to construct an extension of the sanitary sewer infrastructure and water distribution mains along State Road 49. The extension of this infrastructure will encourage development and job growth. Investment in wastewater infrastructure provides significant environmental, public health, and economic benefits to the local communities and the nation.
