Amount Requested: $42,600
The funds will be used by the Kouts Police Department to purchase and install technology and equipment upgrades for police vehicles, including light-emitting-diode lights to improve energy efficiency and electronic defibrillators and electronic control devices to improve the safety of the residents and officers. Additionally, the Department will purchase and install narrow band radios in order to meet the regulations mandated by the Federal Communications Commission. This investment will improve the safety and effectiveness of the officers of the Kouts Police Department.
