Call my Washington office well in advance for help in planning your trip to Washington, DC. Passes are limited and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Some attractions may be booked three or four months in advance, especially during the peak tour season in the spring and summer months.
Take advantage of the free activities and concerts. Plenty are offered, particularly during the summer. The military exhibitions are especially popular.
The District has very limited parking space. It is advisable to use public transportation as much as possible rather than drive.
During the summer months the weather in Washington D.C. can be warm and very humid. Please keep this in mind when packing for your trip and planning your visit. The humidity can making extensive walking more difficult than anticipated.
