LINDER ANNOUNCES HE WILL NOT SEEK RE-ELECTION

Duluth, GA- Congressman John Linder (GA-07) released the following statement regarding his decision not to seek re-election:
"Every other year for 36 years, my name has been on the ballot, and, quite simply, the time has come for me to take my name off. My wife, Lynne, and I have a beautiful farm in Mississippi and are building a beautiful house that’s an hour away from my four grandsons. That is where my heart will be in 2011, and that is why I am not seeking reelection."
